Feed them your kitchen scraps and they can eat their own body weight in food each day and produce valuable organic vermi-cast for the garden with lots of nutrients. They also produce 60% of their body weight in worm-wee each day which is high in nitrogen and can be diluted 20:1 and used as a highly nutritious plant food.
