Our online shop sells a range of items including books & posters, tools & equipment, composting systems and organic fertilisers and soap nuts.

Delivery

Pricing is based on goods being collected from the Environment Centre or (by arrangement) from our mobile shop in New Plymouth.  If you live elsewhere in New Zealand or are unable to collect your goods, we will add the cost of postage or delivery to your order, which depends on the size and weight of the items.

Payment Methods

• We accept cash-on-delivery for collected goods
• Cheques made out to Taranaki Environmental Education Trust and posted to us
• Internet Payment (bank transfer) - we will send instructions following your order

Organic SoapNuts

"SoapNuts are fruits that grow on the Sapindus Mukorossi (Himalayan) Soapnut tree. These fruits contain a natural substance called saponin, which when dissolved in water, create mild suds, which is very similar to soap. This soapy substance has remarkable detergent properties, easily replacing normal detergents. It works effectively by removing dirt and dissolving oils from clothes and other surfaces.
